Gunter Camp & Conference Center - The church camp in Nazarene is one of the best retreat centers in South Carolina for people to meet, fellowship and be inspired. We offer our facilities for use not only by groups from the Church of the Nazarene but also by other similar faith communities in South Carolina and the surrounding area, as well as schools, businesses and other organizations for camps, retreats, reunions, and conferences.

Our youth retreat was an absolute success, thanks in large part to Gunter Camp and their staff’s close involvement with the entire event. They made our programs and activities twice as fun and engaging—these guys are definitely recommended!

We had heard great things about Gunter Camp’s retreat food service and we weren’t disappointed. They have a new full-service kitchen adjacent to the conference and dining halls—and it’s quite impressive! They served all kinds of goodies to our group, including southern fried chicken, home-made desserts, and fresh-baked breads. The buffet was absolutely awesome with plenty of choices when it came to beverages. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks—everything was delicious. They worked with us to create the perfect menu for our group, with lots of variety (including Mexican and Italian dishes). The rumors are definitely true: Gunter Camp provides amazing food service. Highly recommended!
