The Tampa Bay area includes Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater, Florida and is the year-round home to one of the best inshore and deep-sea fishing destinations in the country. The 3,190-acre Weedon Island preserve on the west side of Tampa Bay is an aquatic upland ecosystem supporting a diverse population of bird rookeries and animals. It also happens to be the spawning grounds for many of the fish found in Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico.
