Schurz Communications, owners of the Herald-Mail Company, built the the property at 100 Summit Avenue in 1979. The plans of the building, even at that time, included what is known as The Community Room, where local organizations could meet and conduct business.

That commitment to community continues today with The PressRoom event facility.

Once home to a three-story, 273-ton press, the space now provides a unique, one-of-a-kind venue for events and meetings.
