Since childhood, Dr. Reed was burdened with high myopic-astigmatism. He depended on thick glasses or uncomfortable contact lenses but in July of 1994, that was all over. He had laser vision correction and is now no longer dependent on corrective lenses to appreciate life. As a laser eye surgeon, and a very satisfied patient, he now has the privilege of sharing his unique experience with thousands of patients and friends. Dr. Reed attended the University of Utah where he earned a BS degree in Chemistry and graduated with honors. Dr. Reed graduated from medical school and served his Ophthalmology internship at the University of Utah after graduating in 1983. He completed his Ophthalmology training through residency at the University of California, Davis, and then joined Dr. Griffin in private practice. His office serves the Sacramento and Roseville, California area.
