Dr. Mark Jacobs hails from the capital region of New York State, Schenectady, NY. As a young person athletics was a large part of his life. While in high school, Dr. Jacobs earned a letter for his active involvement in these team sports. He enjoys walking, riding his bike and yoga.

Dr. Jacobs received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Buffalo State College in Buffalo, NY. He earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.
