A dual-degreed doctor, David L. Ransen earned a PhD in Psychology from Cornell University in 1979, then a second degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Nova in 2006.

In his 38-year career, he specializes in couples/marriage counseling, individual psychotherapy, and clinical hypnotherapy, in which he is Board Certified.

Unlike most other counselors, people and couples need see him for just 2 to 4 sessions, on the average. This very rapid progress is enabled by Dr. Ransen's focus on working solutions for today and the future, instead of analysis of your past or your problems.


Appointments are on weekdays beginning at 10:30. The last appointment begins at 5:00. Sessions last AT LEAST 2 hours, often longer, at no extra cost.
