He also co-founded the Mercer Law Free Press; an online publication which serves as a voice for the students of Mercer Law and gives those interested in the school a personal look into the lives of Mercer students. Barton graduated and received his J.D. from Mercer in 2012 and passed the Georgia bar later that year. His primary area of focus lay in personal injury litigation.

Michael Ruder graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He then moved to Chicago, Illinois, where he received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He was admitted to practice law in Illinois, where he worked primarily in personal injury law, both for plaintiff and defense.
