Do not hire this person at 8 zero 3 8 one 0 3 one 13!! He says all the right things to get the job but will take your money and leave you with shoddy work. After going on and on about how he was going to install/move light switches, fix carpeting, install/finish drywall, use all new trim/molding, install door with new trim and build a first rate book case - it didn't happen. He left me with ruined improperly sanded and stained floors and quarter round, holes and bumping throughout the drywall, drywall not sealed properly or sanded/finished so that it could be primed/painted, damaged door frame, damaged and dirty USED trim/molding throughout - also not caulked properly, damaged/split wood with 4 different finishes for the bookcases, etc., etc., etc. I had eight contractors come in to review his work and bid on fixing it, and each one left scratching their heads at the crappy work this person did. He changes his story daily and leaves work unfinished to camouflage the damage he is going to leave you with by claiming he's not done so that he can get a draw on the money. No matter how many times I went over designs and problems with him - nothing was done the way we agreed on.
